CHECK-IN

Please check in at the spa reception at least 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment. Late arrivals result in a shorter massage session.

ARRIVING LATE

If you are late to your session you are welcome to the remaining time of your scheduled appointment. Unfortunately, due to our tightly booked schedule we are generally unable to extend a session beyond the original appointed time. Regardless of the length of the service given, you will be responsible for payment of the full service.

SPA ETIQUETTE

To preserve a harmonious environment within the spa, mobile phones and electronic devices should be set on silent. Smoking and the consumption of alcohol within the spa are prohibited. Furthermore, in an effort to maintain a healthy environment, we ask guests who are feeling ill (with symptoms attributable to colds, fevers, flu, etc.) to reschedule their appointment to a later date.

Receiving a massage during the onset of illness or toward the end of its progression is not advised. During the early phases, a massage (which promotes blood circulation) can accelerate the infection and intensify its severity. Additionally, if you get a massage after the infection has peaked you may experience a relapse of symptoms and feel sick again.

SPECIAL CONSIDERATION

Guests who are pregnant or those with high blood pressure, heart conditions, or any other medical conditions are required to inform our practitioners or spa receptionist. Your safety is important to us and your treatment may require special considerations.

CANCELLATION POLICY

A 24-hour notice is required for us to reschedule your appointment. Any cancellation with less than 24-hour notice will incur a cancellation fee of 50% of the reserved treatment cost. Full fee will be imposed for a no-show.

PAYMENT

Cash, all major credits are accepted

GIFT CARDS

Gift cards are available for purchase for any value amount and can be redeemed for massage services only and carry no cash value. Modern Thai Spa is not responsible for lost, stolen, unauthorized card use, or damaged cards. Cards may be replaced if a valid card number can be provided and will be set to the value of the original card at the time we receive your report of the card’s loss, damage, theft, or unauthorized use. Value can be added to the card at any time.

SEXUAL HARASSMENT

We only provide traditional Thai massage treatment. It does not involve in or is related to any sexual activities. We are strongly against sexual harassment/assault and it is strictly prohibited on our premises. We reserve the right to ask you to leave or to have you removed if you are in breach of our policies.
